I'm a Mess, I'm a Wreck. I'm Perfect.

Hmmm…it’s been awhile since I’ve blogged. I’ve been waiting to upload my photos of my pretty apartment, but who knows when that will actually transpire. So I guess I’ll just write a quick note to let people know that I’m alive. I made it back safely from Orlando and Houston. In Orlando I had a glorious hotel—top floor, even—but not enough time to enjoy it. Oh well, I suppose it was work, so that wasn’t my primary goal. I wonder when vacation will really mean vacation again? We’re going to Gulf Shores for Labor Day weekend…which will be wonderful…but I want more!

Anyway. Home. Have pretty new things, and finally my dishes in my apartment. It’s coming together. This semester I’m taking an online course, geography. It has nothing to do with anything, except I needed to take a class so I wouldn’t be withdrawn. But my primary goal is to do yoga twice a week, during an extended lunch hour. I’ve more or less made that my class for the semester, so I need to be as committed to it as a class.

For those of you who haven’t heard, I wasn’t able to take my GRE on Saturday. Apparently there is a difference between “54 Magruder St” and Magruder Hall. This is, of course, viewed as stupidity on my part and they won’t let me reschedule. Maybe this is a sign that I shouldn’t be going to grad school. If I’m not able properly locate the place at which I’m supposed to take a test, I certainly shouldn’t be spending $160 more to determine that I should reconsider more schooling. I can’t believe I wasted that money. I want to cry and scream in frustration. I was being so good about money, and then boom $160 gone. I just can’t believe I did that.

Anyway. I’m starting my life list again. If you’d like to view it, click here: http://www.43things.com/person/gracefullypunk

Sorry about the cross-posting of the life list…at least it wasn’t the same blog in its entirety.

Read your life list and noticed that one of the items was to learn to run. I assume that you mean to just go out and jog or run for exercise, not to race. Either way, do not be discouraged when you start out, if you do start running regularly. Start with short runs. Do run-walks. I won't go one, since this is not the place.

I do read your blog, checking it regularly and enjoying to hear how things are going with you.
