I still remember the day that we got to watch It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown in AP US History. This from a teacher who seemed to condemn fun as unnecessary, who walked around smacking students' desks with a yardstick.
Anyway, my favorite holiday movie is still A Charlie Brown Christmas. But tonight kicks off the holidays with a showing of the Halloween classic...and I will be celebrating in style in New Orleans. Well, not really in style, as many people will be going to balls (yes, balls, people around here go to Halloween balls). But I will be having a Halloween weekend in the city that puts all other cities' supersitions to shame. That's right, we are once again headed to New Orleans. I only wish that we could take a ghost tour. Next time. This time, it appears that we will be exploring new areas of the city, and will be very near some of the cemetaries, so I will try to take some photos to show their uniqueness.
Y, tambien, celebre el dia de los muertos en el 1 noviembre.
