I forgot to let people know...there are photos up on Flickr I remembered as I added a bunch of photos from Voodoo Fest in October, but there are Nicaragua photos and a few Mardi Gras photos on there, too.
I have to say I love Flickr, but I wish I could use it to post photos in blogs and on myspace. Unfortunately, the way things stand now, I need to upload photos in my photobucket too in order to post them in other places on the web. In addition I upload them into shutterfly in order to make prints. It would all be so much simpler if I could do all this from one site. Are you listening, FLICKR? Make your site just a little better...for me, please.
I did group the Nica photos for easier viewing. Feel free to comment...I think some of them are quite spectacular.
So an announcement...I just faxed my forms in to HR at Tulane. I'm first in line for a position as Grants and Contracts Specialist in Research Administration. Unfortunately I need to wait for all the paperwork to be finished before they can officially offer me the job, but it's looking good...
There are some great benefits to this job. It would be just a block away from where I'd take classes (for free) and I could ride the bus to work. It's a little more pay than my current job. It would be in the health sciences field, which would help advance my knowledge and career there. AND, most importantly, it gets me to New Orleans...
