So I'm back from New Jersey and I survived, albeit barely. I will post photos and stories later...
I'm absolutely exhausted today. The alarm went off at 4:01 EST, otherwise known as 3:01 CST and 1:01 for you west coasters, some of whom were probably going to bed as I was struggling to open my eyes. I chose not to get coffee before my flight, and for once this was a positive decision as the flight was nearly empty and I was able to lay across three seats and sleep for a couple hours, although of course it was the wake up when your knee hits the tray table that you set down so that you might receive breakfast sort of sleep.
By the way, can I just recommend Continental Airlines for your next trip? They have plenty of blankets to go around and they actually give you food, as well as multiple beverage services! Nope, they're not paying me, but if the airline would like to give me additional OnePass miles I'd be glad to accept!
Anyway...I'll give some actual updates on NJ tomorrow as well as (hopefully) a couple photos, but today I'll just say, if you go, take very good maps and emergency rations, and be prepared to hike across highways in case you can't maneuver your car through the maze of highways.

Thanks for the info on Continental...we flew Delta to Atlanta. It was almost a 5 hour flight and received a 'snack pack' which consisted of 2 crackers,a little thing of havarti spread, 2 oreos and a baby box of raisins. Oh yeah, later on we also got a little bag of sunchips. I was junkfooded!
I remember when they'd push that cart down the aisle and ask if I'd like the Lasagna with green salad and chocolate cake or the New England roast beef with vegetables and cheese cake.
Good times...
