I've been thinking over the weekend about the direction I'd like this blog to take. I don't think I've been very purposeful with it, just throwing up my random thoughts, observations, and commentary. But I've been reading Jim Wallis and have started thinking about prophetic voices.
Now, I'm not claiming to have a prophetic voice--but I am saying we have lost the words of the prophets. While I may not be a prophet, I do have a voice, and I do have the ability to write well and express my thoughts coherently.
I'm going to start collecting my thoughts and centering them on moving toward a separate blog. Something along the lines of "gracefully green," combining environmentalism, food choices and faith. I don't know if such a thing exists or if I'm even qualified to create it, but I just might try.
I just know I don't want this:

Really good video...I wonder why I've never seen it as an ad on T.V.?
I think your idea is grand. I think it's the perfect group of three essentials.
I'll send you links if I see anything out there that will help you build your case.
I hope it makes it to TV. It's a third place winner, so if you see one with elephants falling from the sky, that's the one that took first. But I liked this one more.
Have you heard of Sallie McFague?
She's a natural, feminist theologian. She wrote a book called Super, Natural Christian. It's about how Christians should interact with nature. She's written other things too. Her world view is worth listening too.
