Running again this morning. I was meant to go yesterday but of course it didn't happen, so now I'm going to have to run while I'm in Decatur this weekend. Today was tough. I don't know how I'm going to be able to run for 30 minutes when I couldn't even run for 90 seconds. It was difficult to get air into my lungs. I guess it'll just get better. Right?
What I know is this: Yesterday I didn't exercise at all. And I was extremely grumpy. Coincidence? I do not think so. Tuesday was yoga and that felt so good. Tomorrow? Well, tomorrow I only work 7-12, then we go to Alabama, so I guess my workout will be walking around Big Spring Park, at the outdoor concert. Then I'll make myself move on Saturday...probably will be good for me to get out of the house, anyway.
Today:
30+ minutes exercise (only ~7 minutes running, though)
Music: The Format, Dog Problems
Fuel: Provolone string cheese
Oatmeal with raisins and a nectarine
1/2 crabcake salad (not as good as my crabcakes, unfortunately)
Brownie sundae...isn't that why I exercise, to share a brownie sundae? Oh it was wonderful.
Does anyone have any good movie recommendations? We're signed up for Blockbuster and in addition to the movies they send, we get a coupon every week...and I never know what movies are out there.
One more thing...Facebook (if you don't know what it is, it's a social networking site open to students only) has started a mini-feed, which tells you what your friends are doing. It's a huge controversy, but I noticed something good in it. One of my friends signed up for a group called, "For every 1,000 members, I will donate $1 to the crisis in Darfur." I joined, and then decided to go donate myself. I hope that's what others are doing as well. If you're interested in learning a bit about the crisis, click the title of this blog. And the BBC informed us today that the African Union is extending its peacekeeping committment through the end of the year; however, Sudan still refuses a UN peacekeeping force.

Movie suggestions from me:
I've gotten some good HBO specials. My titles might be sort of off so forgive me if they are:
"..and the Lord God made them all" True story. HBO.
Sentinel. Paul tells everyone to watch the Sentinel.
Flightplan
Akeelah and the Bee
RV
Elizabethtown
Oldies (sort of)
Mystery Men
What about Bob?
Waiting for Guffman
Finding Forrester
Kirsten, you must, must, must watch Beyond The Gates Of Splendor. It is a documentary of an Equadorian tribe that speared some missionaries and how the widows and children of these missionaries ended up living in and ministering with these people. It is a life changing movie.
Oh, I did sqats last night with out screaming. The breathing will get easier...
